About Our School
The North York Suzuki School of Music, formerly the Seneca Suzuki School of Music, has been located in the North York area of Toronto for over 40 years. We offer instruction in violin, piano, cello, and guitar to a community of 100+ students, supported by 11 teachers and their administrator.
The Suzuki Method
At NYSSM, our community embraces the teachings of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki: every child has talent that can be nurtured with the support of the Suzuki Triangle—teacher, parent, and child. We also enjoy participating in special events with the Greater Toronto Suzuki Community.
